Considered for years to be nothing more than urban legend, the Kelpie Dashers of the Oriens Swamp are a dangerous folk, with their sharp teeth and more carnivorous fisher-like leanings; rarely allowing strangers escape their bogside homes without a bite taken out of them. Keeping to themselves and their swamps they are said to worship Lenus and take after her ideals and image like her own fishers. - Kelpie dasher fur is often grown long and shaggy, twisted and matted in on itself and their hooves have adapted to become two webbed toes over the years. Their ears have also taken up more of a fin-like appearance over the years, though the most drastic difference between them and the rest of their race is the fact that their side gems are embedded in their bodies with thin skin over them showing the glow of them within. They use their magic to create mist, lights, noises and other distractions to lure prey into an easy ambush. Female kelpie dashers will adorn their hair with Moss, Bones, Vines, or in rare instances Flowers they traded with other StarDragons for their lives.
