Standard StarDashers
42 Traits
Nimble and swift, these skittishly elusive StarDragons live up to their namesake, bounding easily at breakneck speeds through the dense magical forests they call their home. Secretive societies hide out of sight, but just because you can't see them... Sporting the most life gems with a minimum of five and a maximum of eleven, stardashers are considered the most magically blessed of all the races. Unfortunately this makes them a prime target for shooters seeking to reap many powerful magic gems. This causes the dashers to largely live in recluse in tribes shrouded deep in the forest or nomadic enclaves leaving very little trace as they cross desert lands. As with all StarDragons, their life essence and magic power dwells spread amongst these gems. However, dashers in particular have developed a protective measure in the form of ‘pseudo-gems’ or ‘duds’ where one or more of their gems will not hold magic but simply be a decoy should it be damaged or stolen. The dasher themselves cannot tell them apart, but neither can their predators, allowing them to escape relatively unharmed or at least with their life. Though StarDashers famously compete with StarSweepers for the favor of the earth god Raziel, these deeply spiritual StarDragons tend to worship the collective pantheon. Their proficiency include -dumb speed like damn -hiding stealth and camouflage -perception and sight -magical affluence -spiritual affluence as mediums, spirits, fortune tellers - StarDashers have one large primary life gem that floats suspended between their antlers (or if they so wish, incorporated into their hair to resemble an accessory). Dashers are gifted with perceptive magics, as well as perceptive eyes, up to four of them. Those born with only two eyes will have two forehead gems that mimic the size and placement of a second, upper pair of eyes. Dashers will always have a set of four gems, two on each side, adorning their ribs. Some will have an extra set of four along the sides of their thighs to match those on their ribs, but these aren’t required. Lacking the variations between the sexes that most Stardragons exhibit alongside their gems Dashers tend to have large sets of antlers or horns, long hair tails and a set of hooves. Stardasher females tend to prefer flowers grown from shrubs and bushes such as; Roses, Azuleas, Lilacs, and Daphne.
